Because I aim to provide the highest standard of care, I am not on insurance panels. In other words, I am not “in network” with any insurance company. This means your insurance company does not get to dictate the work we do together. Instead, we are free to pursue and customize treatment to suit *your* needs and *your* goals.

If you are wanting to use your insurance, are you aware that many insurance plans still offer reimbursement for out-of-network providers? This means that your plan may allow reimbursement towards some of your session costs. Typically, clients find that they are being reimbursed 40-60% per session.
To make it easier for clients, I’ve partnered with Thrizer to simplify and automate the out-of-network process. With Thrizer, if you’ve already met your deductible, you may only need to pay your co-pay per session.
Also, you won’t have to navigate the confusing process of submitting superbills. Thrizer makes it easy by taking care of this for you, all at no cost to you. Plus, you’ll be reimbursed quickly!
If you do have a deductible to meet, Thrizer can still be used to charge for your sessions and your statements will be sent to your insurance and applied to your deductible.
I know the cost of therapy can be stressful and I want to help you maximize your out-of-network benefits so you can focus on your mental health and well-being.

If you prefer to take care of submitting your own insurance claims, please contact your insurance provider to verify how your plan compensates you for mental health services. I recommend you ask the following questions to determine your benefits:
· Does my insurance plan offer out-of-network benefits?
· Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
· How many approved sessions for the year does the insurance plan cover?
· How much will my plan cover for out-of-network mental health services?
· How do I get reimbursed for sessions with a provider that is out-of-network?
· Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order to see an out-of-network provider?
